The Orange Downtown Alliance is a nonprofit association established to enhance the economic environment of the town of Orange, Virginia as a center of commerce while maintaining the character and integrity of the town’s central business district as an attractive place to live, work, and visit.

ODA is a member of the Virginia Main Street Program and the National Main Street Center. We follow the Four-Point Approach developed by the National Main Street Center. Activities are focused on economic development, design, promotion and organization. Leadership of ODA is provided by a volunteer Board of Directors and an active committee system. We encourage participation on our committees and at special events and promotions.

Orange County offers ideal business and industry locations and basic community resources necessary to support a prosperous and diversified economy. Through the combined efforts of the Economic Development Office, Economic Development Corporation, Chamber of Commerce and business and community leaders, the County actively promotes and encourages balanced growth and development.

The County owns and is currently developing the 155-acre Thomas E. Lee Industrial park. The park is located on James Madison Highway, U.S. Route 15, between the towns of Orange and Gordonsville.

The Park is served by CSX railroad and has public water and sewage available. In addition to the Industrial Park, several industrial and commercial properties are readily available.
