2022 TOWN OF ORANGE LEAF COLLECTION SCHEDULE

The Town of Orange Department of Public Works will be collecting leaves placed at the curb for bulk collection beginning Monday, October 31, 2022.  Your leaf collection will depend on the side of Town in which you live.  

Leaves will be collected on the following schedule:

East Side:        October 31 – November 4

West Side:      November 7 – November 10

NO COLLECTION ON NOVEMBER 11^th – VETERAN’S DAY HOLIDAY

East Side:        November 14 – November 18

West Side:      November 21 – November 23

NO COLLECTION ON NOVEMBER 24^th & 25^th – THANKSGIVING HOLIDAY

East Side:        November 28 – December 2

West Side:      December 5 – December 9

East Side:        December 12 – December 16

West Side:      December 19 – December 22

NO COLLECTION ON DECEMBER 23^rd or 26^th – CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY 

TOWNWIDE COLLECTION:  December 28^th –  December 30 -  Crews will go to both sides of Town during this week to get any remaining leaves that may have been missed or that have fallen after a scheduled weekly pickup.

Please do not place leaves in front of or into storm drains & do not put limbs/brush in leaf piles as this may cause damage to our machinery.   On streets without curb and gutter, residents should place leaves as close as possible to the property line.  Inclement weather (heavy rains or snow) or a heavy fall of leaves may extend the collection period for the affected sides of Town.  The last day of bulk leaf pickup will be Friday, December 30, 2022, after which leaves must bagged and set out with your trash.
